This role involves supervising a small team of two technicians, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities: Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on Yanmar and Volvo Penta engines. Supervise a team of two technicians, providing guidance and support as needed. Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal engine performance. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in a timely manner. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Order and manage inventory of spare parts and tools. Plan maintenance of vessels. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations. Qualifications: Proven experience working with Yanmar and Volvo Penta engines. 3+ years of experience as Marine Engineer or similar. Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant certifications or qualifications in marine engineering or a related field. Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in marine maintenance.
