Location: Hybrid/Remote (Yorkshire, UK)

Overview: Join our team to maintain and repair our growing fleet of Crew Transfer Vessels. You'll work both independently and with crew members to ensure our vessels are always operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, inspect, and repair vessel engines (Cat C 32, C2.2, C3.3) and gearboxes (ZF/Servo gear).
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and heating systems.
  • Conduct performance tests and root cause analysis.
  • Train crew members on vessel maintenance.
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergencies.
  • Ensure QHSE standards are met.
  • Manage stock levels and procurement.
  • Provide daily progress reports.
  • Build relationships with local suppliers.

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience as a ship engineer or in marine mechanical engineering.
  • STCW qualifications.
  • Experience with OS-HSC CTV/craft vessels.
  • Willingness to travel and be on-call.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Full valid driving licence.
