As a Software Engineer C++, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to obtain UK SC clearance in this role.

You will be involved in:

  • Continued design and development of Command and Control architectures, and the instantiations for future products.
  • A strong background in software engineering, its realisation, and system-wide impact.
  • Experience of working in C++.
  • Experience of working across the entire software development process from engaging with requirement authorities to automated proving, supported with effective documentation.
  • Experience with new tools, techniques, and approaches.
  • Experience in other languages such as Ada, QT.
  • Knowledge of DDS and multi-threaded applications.
  • Knowledge of standards such as DefStan 00-55, DO-178C or IEC61508 and restricted coding standards such as MISRA C++.
