A leading national advisory firm is seeking an experienced tax professional to join its Private Client team as an Associate Director, specialising in Partnerships Tax. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior tax specialist to take on a strategic and client-facing leadership role, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and leading on complex advisory projects. The role combines technical expertise with team leadership and business development responsibilities, offering scope to make a meaningful impact in a growing and collaborative environment.

This opportunity is ideal for a Private Client Tax Senior Manager looking to progress into an Associate Director role, or for an existing Associate Director seeking a new challenge.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact for both existing and new clients.
  • Lead advisory and technical assignments, ensuring high-quality delivery within budget and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify and secure new business opportunities.
  • Oversee and review work completed by team members, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development.
  • Foster collaboration across service lines to ensure client needs are fully met.

Requirements
  • CTA and/or ACA qualified (or equivalent), or qualified by experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of partnership and private client tax matters.
  • Demonstrated success in client relationship management and project delivery.
  • Proven experience leading advisory projects and producing high-quality technical reports.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative working style.
  • Experience managing a portfolio of compliance and advisory projects and mentoring junior team members.
