The predicted salary is between 41625 - 50875 Β£ per year.

Contract: 12 months initially, potential extension

Location: London – site based

Rate: Β£402–£407/day Umbrella

We are recruiting for an experienced Works Inspector to support major construction and transport infrastructure projects across London.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and supervise construction works on site.
  • Inspect reinforced concrete (RC) works and review reinforcement drawings.
  • Review and implement Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
  • Undertake independent examinations and quality inspections.
  • Monitor structural steelwork installations.
  • Oversee highways works, including waterproofing and surfacing.
  • Identify and escalate quality or technical issues where required.

Essential Experience

  • Strong reinforced concrete inspection/delivery experience.
  • Comprehensive ITP experience.
  • Highways construction experience, particularly waterproofing and surfacing.
  • Previous site inspection or supervision experience.
  • Civil engineering, highways, rail or transport infrastructure background.

Requirements: CSCS Card and full UK driving licence.

This is a site-focused role suited to an experienced inspector who can work independently and make informed decisions around construction quality and compliance.
