The Role
- We are looking for an experienced
- Architect, Building Surveyor or Building Engineer with
Design Management experience to support London Underground Renewals.
You will work as a
Design Manager / Project Engineer , coordinating different engineering disciplines, managing design information and supporting the London Underground assurance process.
This is a varied role involving office, home and site-based working within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate design and engineering activities across different disciplines.
- Support the delivery of London Underground renewal projects.
- Manage design interfaces and technical information.
- Support the London Underground assurance process.
- Review designs and technical documents.
- Work with engineers, designers, contractors and other stakeholders.
- Attend site visits and project meetings.
- Help identify and resolve technical and design issues.
You will ideally have
- Experience as an
Architect, Building Surveyor or Building Engineer .
- Strong
Design Management experience.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
- Good technical and communication skills.
- Experience working within a formal assurance or governance process.
RIBA, RICS or MCIOB qualification/membership.
Desirable
- Previous rail or London Underground experience .
- Experience with renewal, refurbishment or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of rail assurance processes.
