As the Production Scheduler, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Producing and maintaining the mid to long-term MPS (Master Production Schedule) for all the products across in the Broughton plant
- Updating tactical build plans, which are used to optimise production in the shorter term
- Calculating resource requirements to ensure we have workload/workforce alignment
- Monitoring the adherence to the build plan, whilst ensuring it is achievable
- Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
- Tactical planning & work package monitoring
- Capacity and resource calculations
- Planning assumption agreement
- Refinement and optimisation of the production build plans
- Recovery planning
- Compilation of key performance indicators (KPI's) for reporting and monitoring of the business
Experience in Production Scheduling
Proficiency in oral and written communication skills
Collaborating well within a team
Able to interface with other functions in a production environment
Experience of using Google suite and similar digital tools (e.g MS Office)
A working knowledge of Python coding
Education to a minimum HNC/HND or equivalent in Business, Operations or similar subjects
