Cable Engineer in Leeds

Responsibilities

• Design and develop HV cable systems, including selection, installation methods, and technical calculations.
• Produce engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Conduct site surveys, support installation, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with project teams and provide expert technical guidance.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering (or equivalent).
• Extensive HV cable design and testing experience; HVDC desirable.
• Knowledge of IEC cable standards, CIGRE / IEEE policies, and 3rd-party cable activities.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards status.
• Willingness to travel across UK projects.
