Do you hold a NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety qualification? Do you have experience with CMMS platforms such as Maximo or IBM TRIRIGA? As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to acquire an SC level security clearance.
- Efficiently deliver the maintenance activities utilising the external contractors including monitoring and reporting on issues.
- Ensures all statutory inspections completed on time for assets under facilities control/monitors landlord completion.
- Develops and improve maintenance job plans for facilities assets.
- Checks returned reports and certificates for accurate and correct content before submitting for CMMS closure/arranging additional or remedial work.
- Act as facilities representation for project handover/acceptance of new plant.
- Collection of asset registration data and supports the development of the CMMS.
- Daily use and support of CMMS to control workflow.
- Ensures Facilities-related Command Media is appropriate and in line with business and legislative requirements.
Previous supervisory or management experience within a facilities or maintenance environment. Professional experience in facilities management or a related field, ideally within the defence industry. Experience managing both in-house maintenance teams and external contractors. Working knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maximo or IBM TRIRIGA. Good understanding of relevant facilities legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements. Competent in Microsoft Office applications. Basic understanding of project management methodologies. Experience hosting and coordinating external contractors on site.
