As the Facilities Project Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to acquire an SC level security clearance.
You will be involved in:
- Work with the site teams to develop and deliver internal facilities projects
- Electrical, mechanical, and civil interaction with primary stakeholders such as user groups and other functions (Security, Health & safety, Information Technology)
- Provides technical Facilities input to scopes and options to meet the desired outcome
- Supports the development of concepts for Scopes of work that can be actioned by procurement
- Produces project plans
- Reviews contractor paperwork and assist with the management of projects to completion and sign off by the business
Your skillset may include:
- Previous experience in Project Engineering or Project Management ideally within a facilities or defence environment
- PRINCE 2 or member of a related accredited organisation
- Good working knowledge of 2D and/or 3D C.A.D packages such as AutoCAD
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project and the Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of Project management techniques
- Knowledge and understanding of building regulations
- NEBOSH Level 2 Health and Safety at work
- At least 3 years of professional experience within a facilities or related disciplines
