My client is looking to recruit a Fire Damper Engineer for clients across Bedfordshire.

Duties to include:

  • Carry out fire compartment remediation works under the RRO and the Fire Safety Act and all other relevant standards.
  • To play a lead role in the service delivery of maintenance contracts
  • To re-train, where required, to be able to carry out additional tasks depending on the needs of the business.
  • Completion of servicing, remedials and breakdowns

Experience required:

  • Full UK driver\’s licence
  • Previous experience in passive fire stopping system installation, including:
  • Penetration sealsLinear gap sealingCavity barrier installation Fire curtain installation
  • To be willing to adapt to the need to travel and scheduling
  • Be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of passive fire rules and regulations
  • Experience in working to approved installation guides and techniques
