We are looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer to join a leading provider of marine and industrial engine services. This role involves delivering expert maintenance, troubleshooting, and overhaul services for a wide range of engines used in marine and offshore applications. You will work on-site at ports, shipyards, and offshore facilities both in the UK and worldwide.
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and complete overhauls on 4-stroke and 2-stroke marine diesel engines.
- Commission engines and conduct performance/load testing following maintenance or installation.
- Provide technical support and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare accurate service reports and maintain clear communication with clients and internal teams.
- Travel extensively within the UK and internationally to meet client requirements.
- Proven experience in marine engine maintenance and repair (Caterpillar, Wartsila, MAN, Cummins, Daihatsu, Niigata).
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to work offshore when required.
- Experience with commissioning, sea trials, and major component replacements (crankshaft, cylinder heads, pistons).
To be considered for this role, you MUST be based in the UK/have the immediate right to work in the UK.
