A leading organisation within the marine and offshore sector is seeking an experienced Estimator to support upcoming dry-dock and engineering projects. This role will play a key part in developing accurate project pricing, resource planning and survey-based assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Build custom pricing models for dry-dock and repair work.
- Interpret detailed job specifications and convert them into resource, labour and time requirements.
- Conduct site surveys to gather technical and dimensional information.
- Create project planners, timelines and detailed work programmes.
- Collaborate closely with clients, suppliers and internal operations teams.
- Provide accurate estimates to support bidding, scheduling and project delivery.
Experience & Background
- Proven experience as an Estimator, ideally within marine, oil & gas, or rig-related environments.
- Strong background in steelwork or mechanical engineering.
- Understanding of dry-dock processes, repair workflows and vessel-related engineering.
- Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings.
- Confident communicator with experience working alongside multiple stakeholders.
