An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Tax Manager to join a growing property-focused tax team at an award-winning accountancy firm. This client-facing role offers a mix of compliance and advisory work, with the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of property clients, including investment groups, developers, and funds.
This role is ideal for a Business Tax Manager or Senior Manager with experience delivering high-quality tax services within the property sector.
Requirements- Experience managing a portfolio of corporate tax clients, ideally within the property sector
- Strong technical knowledge of corporation tax, with both compliance and advisory exposure
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Ability to lead, support, and develop junior team members
- Proficiency with Alphatax knowledge is desirable
- Manage corporation tax compliance and advisory matters for a portfolio of property clients, from standalone entities to complex groups
- Review computations and returns prepared by junior staff to ensure accuracy and timely filing
- Advise on property-related tax matters, including structuring, group reorganisations, acquisitions, disposals, and due diligence
- Identify and implement tax-efficient strategies tailored to client needs
- Oversee billing, monitor work in progress, and maintain strong client relationships
- Support business development activities, including attending sector-related networking events
