Document Controller Birmingham | Hybrid Working | SC Clearance Require dContract Role | Minimum 6 Months | Immediate Star tUp to £32 per hour (Umbrella) | 40 Hours per Wee k An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experience d Document Controll er to join a major infrastructure and engineering programme based in Birmingham. This is an initial six-month contract with the potential for extensio n. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project documentation and ensuring the accuracy, quality, and integrity of records throughout the project lifecycle. Applicants must be willing to attend the office and site locations a minimum of three days per week and be prepared to travel when requir ed. Key Responsibili tiesControl the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of electronically stored documentat ion.Ensure documents comply with established templates, standards, and form ats.Perform quality and compliance checks before issuing documentat ion.Register and maintain documents within Electronic Document Management Systems (ED MS).Maintain document registers, trackers, and project reco rds.Manage the transfer of information between project stakeholders and external part ies.Ensure external contractors adhere to document control procedures and specificati ons.Prepare project reports and provide administrative support when requi red.Manage project files from initiation through to close- out.Maintain accurate database and log entries for tracking purpo ses.Deliver document control activities accurately and efficien tly.Undertake document control training as requi red.
