Rate: £490 per day Umbrella

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Controls Manager to lead and coordinate Project Controls activities across a portfolio of complex capital projects and programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Project Controls processes across assigned projects.
  • Develop and maintain integrated project and programme baselines.
  • Lead period-end processes, including progress assessment, expenditure tracking and reporting.
  • Manage change control activities across projects.
  • Lead and support a team delivering high-quality project controls outputs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.
  • Work with stakeholders at all levels across complex, high-value and high-risk projects.
  • Promote a positive safety culture and support continuous improvement.

Essential Experience

  • Extensive experience in Project Controls within major capital projects or programmes.
  • Strong knowledge of project controls, planning, governance, change control, cost and risk management.
  • Experience using project scheduling and reporting tools, such as Primavera P3e, MS Project and Excel.
  • Experience creating, adapting and monitoring project controls and integrated baselines.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Experience leading or managing Project Controls teams.
  • Recognised Project Management qualification, such as APM Professional.
  • Knowledge of SAP and PPM systems is desirable.
