We are recruiting experienced Rolling Stock Engineers with Mechanical or Electrical backgrounds to support a major overhaul and refurbishment programme based at Acton Depot.

The role will involve:

  • Producing detailed Work Instructions from OEM specifications
  • Resolving technical issues
  • Validating SAP Routings and BOMs
  • Supporting operational teams through technical guidance and training

Candidates must be able to:

  • Interpret engineering, assembly, and manufacturing drawings
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver technical solutions

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Braking systems and sub-components experience
  • Electrical and electronic assemblies experience
  • Rolling stock engineering experience
  • Strong technical writing skills
  • Experience with overhaul, manufacturing, or maintenance environments
  • Knowledge of SAP Routings and BOMs advantageous
  • Ability to resolve complex engineering issues

Engineers from other highly regulated sectors such as aerospace may also be considered where transferable experience is relevant.
