We are looking for an experienced Senior Planner / Planning Manager to support the delivery of major Water infrastructure programmes. This is a permanent opportunity offering up to £60,000 plus benefits, with flexible hybrid working (2–3 days in the office). Office located in Peterborough.

You’ll work on complex, high-profile infrastructure projects, partnering with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6.
  • Lead planning and scheduling activities across complex infrastructure programmes.
  • Establish baselines, monitor progress, and identify risks, delays, and corrective actions.
  • Carry out critical path analysis, resource planning, and schedule reporting.
  • Work closely with clients, contractors, and technical teams to manage programme updates and dependencies.
  • Support project controls, delay analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Provide planning insight and recommendations to project and programme leadership teams.
Essential Experience
  • Proven planning and scheduling experience within major infrastructure programmes.
  • Water industry experience is essential.
  • Experience supporting EIA projects.
  • Expert user of Primavera P6 and strong knowledge of Microsoft Project.
  • Strong understanding of critical path analysis, resource levelling, and schedule risk analysis.
  • Experience working within complex multi-disciplinary project environments.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
  • Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented approach.
