As the Quality Design Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Drive and deliver improvement projects in order to support the achievement of the Engineering quality targets
- Facilitate and support root cause analysis & practical problem solving activities
- Establish and drive corrective and preventive action plans in order to support the improvement of engineering quality performance and its associated deliverables
- Identify risks/issues relating to the quality of the engineering deliverable and facilitate, support, and drive standardised mitigation plans in order to prevent/mitigate risk linked to the product and its related processes
- Support the deployment of Quality standards and apply them within the Engineering organisation
- Capture lessons learned in order to improve organisation efficiency and product maturity
- Quality and/or Engineering Experience
- Project Management knowledge
- Understanding of Failure modes effects analysis
- Understanding of root cause analysis techniques (e.g. 9S, 8D etc.)
- Have excellent IT skills as appropriate to the role (Google Workspace/Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of Product Lifecycle Management and Product Data Management Systems
- Understanding of Engineering Drawing and Modification management
- Experience in a Design or Manufacturing Engineering Environment
