An established and growing national Corporate Tax team is seeking an Associate Director level Corporate Tax Lawyer to join its highly regarded practice in Bristol. The team advises a broad mix of UK mid-market and international clients on both stand‑alone advisory matters and transaction‑related tax issues. The role offers exposure to complex structuring work, strong career development support, an excellent work‑life balance, and highly rewarding financial incentives from day one.
Requirements
- Experience within a transactional and/or advisory tax practice
- Strong technical understanding of UK and international tax rules and structures
- Ability to handle a varied workload involving both advisory and transaction‑based matters
- Experience or interest in areas such as real estate, funds, private equity, corporate or related sectors
- Demonstrated ability to deliver clear, commercial advice
- Proven capability to lead aspects of client engagements and support junior team members
- Suitability for an Associate Director level role, reflecting both technical expertise and growing client/leadership responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Provide UK and cross‑border tax advice for mid‑market and international clients
- Support and take ownership of complex tax structuring projects across sectors such as real estate, funds, and private equity
- Work closely with colleagues across corporate, real estate, banking, projects, and other teams
- Develop and maintain long‑term client relationships, acting as a senior point of contact for key clients
- Contribute to the team’s proactive, forward‑looking approach to generating advisory work
- Mentor and guide junior lawyers, helping to develop their technical and commercial skills
