Are you an experienced Quality Engineer? Do you have experience working within an Aerospace/Automotive manufacturing environment? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!
As the Quality Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Providing guidance and delegation of tasks to Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering personnel
- Developing and maintaining Quality documentation and procedures
- Collecting and analysing data on non-conforming products to enable corrective action to be taken
- Supporting MRB/CAB activity
- Preparing and maintaining Quality product, First Article Inspection Report, Inspection, and MRB delegation plans
- Liaising with internal and external customers with regard to Quality Assurance requirements
- Arranging and controlling audit programmes, including carrying out internal and external site audits
- Development and introduction of quality initiatives
Your skillset may include:
- Awareness of APQP and able to support related activities, e.g. 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and Control Plan development
- Data analysis skills - interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions
- Work well as part of an integrated team alongside operational and cross-functional team members
- Quality or engineering-based background within a major manufacturing industry
