Project Security Consultant
Location: Bristol
Contract: 6 Months
Rate: Up to £79 per hour (Inside IR35)
We are looking for an experienced Project Security Consultant to support the delivery of security governance, assurance, and risk management across high-profile UK programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the security lead for assigned projects.
- Manage project security risks and maintain Security Management Plans and Risk Registers.
- Support security governance, audits, assurance activities, and gate reviews.
- Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory security requirements.
- Produce security reports, dashboards, and updates for project stakeholders.
- Work with customers, suppliers, and internal security teams to deliver effective security assurance.
- Provide security input to project planning, change control, and delivery activities.
Essential Experience
- Experience supporting security governance within project or programme environments.
- Strong background in security risk management and maintaining risk registers.
- Experience producing security documentation and supporting audit and assurance activities.
- Ability to communicate security risks and governance updates to senior stakeholders.
- Knowledge of threat intelligence and security incident management.
Qualifications
