We are seeking a dedicated “Installed Base” Data Owner to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful rollout and operation of the renewal platform across multiple regions. The Data Owner will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of installed base and renewal data, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and usability across systems such as NetSuite (ERP), local SQL databases (tactical installed base solution), New Data Platform Intermediate Database (“IDB”) (strategic installed base solution), and data sets shared with our vendors and suppliers.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Preparation & Upload (renewal platform rollout)
- Extract, cleanse, and validate installed base and renewal POS data from multiple sources (ERPs like NetSuite or SAP, SQL databases, Oracle IDB, Vendors, and Suppliers).
- Perform non-automated initial uploads to the renewal platform, ensuring correct formatting and completeness.
- Collaborate with regional teams to fill data gaps and resolve inconsistencies (e.g., missing serial numbers, contract codes).
- Define requirements for the installed base strategic solution.
- Data Analysis & Quality Assurance
- Identify and correct invalid or incomplete data entries.
- Provide data quality recommendations and support business teams in understanding extract logic and anomalies.
- Validate contract and asset data against APIs (e.g., vendor contract API, serial number check) prior to go-live.
- Business Support & Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as the primary point of contact for data-related queries from implementation managers, business analysts, and country managers.
- Support regional go-lives of the renewal platform by coordinating data readiness and assisting with hypercare activities.
- Participate in SteerCo and team standups to report progress and flag risks.
- Strategic Alignment & Documentation
- Document data preparation logic and workflows to support knowledge transfer and future automation.
- Contribute to the development of a RACI matrix for regional data ownership and governance.
- Collaborate with integration architects to ensure systems are correctly mapped and in sync.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Technical Expertise
- (Essential) Familiarity with installed base data needs and vendor contract/serial number logic.
- (Desired) Strong understanding of NetSuite data structures and processes and data structures in general.
- (Desired) Experience with API integrations and ERP data flows (e.g., OIC, SAP S/4HANA).
- Data Governance & Stewardship
- (Essential) Proven ability to manage data quality across multiple systems and regions.
- (Desired) Experience in master data management (MDM) and data stewardship frameworks.
- Business Acumen
- (Essential) Ability to understand regional business nuances and vendor-specific quirks.
- (Essential) Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders.

- Experience in renewal operations or installed base management.
- Familiarity with vendor quoting and co-term logic.
