A leading engineering services provider within the marine and power sectors is seeking an experienced Account Manager to strengthen their commercial team. This role is perfect for a relationship-driven sales professional with strong marine or offshore experience who can confidently engage with vessel operators, engineers, and technical stakeholders.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for maximising revenue from existing customers across a Northern UK territory and supporting the development of new accounts. This is a hands-on, field-based role focused on customer relationships, technical conversations, and consistent territory coverage.
You’ll convert warm leads, uncover upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and collaborate closely with service, operations, and technical teams to deliver high-quality solutions to your customers.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing marine and offshore customers
- Identify upsell opportunities across services, spare parts, engine overhauls, electrical services, and workshop capabilities
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all activity, visits, and pipeline progress
- Support marketing initiatives and follow up on campaign-generated leads
- Provide regular updates on activity levels and regional performance
Strong CRM discipline and internal collaboration are essential.
- Proven B2B account management and/or technical sales experience
- Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-first approach
- Experience in the marine, offshore, engineering, or power generation sector
- Confident communicator, capable of holding technical conversations with marine stakeholders
- CRM proficiency and strong organisational skills
- Willingness to travel across North England and Scotland
