The Role

  • We are looking for an experienced
  • Architect, Building Surveyor or Building Engineer with

Design Management experience to support London Underground Renewals.

You will work as a

Design Manager / Project Engineer , coordinating different engineering disciplines, managing design information and supporting the London Underground assurance process.

This is a varied role involving office, home and site-based working within a multidisciplinary engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design and engineering activities across different disciplines.
  • Support the delivery of London Underground renewal projects.
  • Manage design interfaces and technical information.
  • Support the London Underground assurance process.
  • Review designs and technical documents.
  • Work with engineers, designers, contractors and other stakeholders.
  • Attend site visits and project meetings.
  • Help identify and resolve technical and design issues.

About You

You will ideally have

  • Experience as an

Architect, Building Surveyor or Building Engineer .

  • Strong

Design Management experience.

  • Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Good technical and communication skills.
  • Experience working within a formal assurance or governance process.

RIBA, RICS or MCIOB qualification/membership.

Desirable

  • Previous rail or London Underground experience .
  • Experience with renewal, refurbishment or infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of rail assurance processes.
  • Working Arrangement

The role is based on a hybrid basis , with approximately

  • 50% working from home
  • 50% working from the Southwark or Stratford office
  • Some site-based work as required
