MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician

Responsibilities

  • Perform MOT tests in accordance with DVSA standards and regulations
  • Carry out vehicle servicing, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs
  • Identify and resolve mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
  • Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and within given timeframes
  • Accurately complete job cards and service documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
  • Provide excellent customer service and support when required
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies

Requirements

  • Qualified MOT Tester (Class 4 minimum) with a current DVSA licence
  • NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent

  • Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
