Do you have experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance? Do you have experience in the Aerospace sector? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!

As the Stress Engineer, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.

You will be involved in:

  • Approve F&DT deliverables and lead the resolution of F&DT problems through the use of appropriate methods
  • Responsible for the technical scope of assigned projects and tasks
  • Contribute to engineering solutions and ways of working borne from experience in aerospace, other industries, or research environments
  • Support the development of less experienced team members on both technical and behavioural aspects

Your skillset may include:

  • Experience and know-how of structures engineering and analytical techniques
  • Good knowledge of overall aircraft structural design principles and techniques
  • Hold or be close to holding approval signatory in F&DT analysis
  • Ability to step back and propose new ideas
  • Have a structural analysis background, particularly fatigue and damage tolerance
