About the Role

Advanced Resource Managers (ARM) are working with a leading renewable energy company who specialise in the design, installation, and operation of solar and wind systems across the UK. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar PV Electrical Installer to join their growing engineering team based in Cornwall. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in maintaining and developing clean energy infrastructure throughout the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver Low Voltage (LV) electrical design and installation projects.
  • Monitor and review site performance on a rota basis, including some weekend cover.
  • Diagnose, record, and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on renewable energy installations.
  • Analyse site data to optimise performance and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and complete technical reports.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • City & Guilds 2365/03 or equivalent/higher.
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent.
  • BS7671 18th Edition certification.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the electrical industry.
  • Methodical and detail-oriented approach to work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Proficient with computers and electrical reporting tools.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Willingness to work nationwide, including evenings and weekends.

Desirable Skills

  • Experience with Solar PV installation and maintenance.
  • CAD software proficiency.
  • Understanding of communication system setup and configuration.
  • High Voltage (HV) design, installation, and maintenance experience.
