  • We are looking for an experienced

Product Delivery Manager - Electromagnetic Engineering Digital to lead the development and delivery of digital engineering capabilities supporting advanced Electromagnetic Engineering within a highly regulated aerospace and defence environment.

This is a strategic and technically engaging role, responsible for shaping the digital toolchains, architectures, and environments that underpin Radar Cross Section (RCS), Low Observability (LO), infrared signature, EMC/HIRF, lightning effects, antenna and RF aperture integration, radome performance, RF propagation, and electromagnetic materials.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the delivery and continuous improvement of digital capabilities supporting Electromagnetic Engineering.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, delivery plans, and prioritised backlogs.
  • Support deployment and optimisation of EM digital solutions, including RCS/LO, IR signature, EMC/HIRF, lightning, antenna, radome, and materials modelling.
  • Establish technical baselines, reference architectures, methodologies, and work instructions.
  • Enable digital-thread connectivity across requirements, EM/IR models, simulations, materials data, test results, and assurance evidence.
  • Ensure appropriate security, confidentiality, IP protection, and access controls for sensitive LO and electromagnetic engineering data.
  • Lead stakeholder engagement across engineering, digital engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and programme teams.
  • Coordinate delivery across internal teams, technology partners, and system integrators.
  • Drive incident resolution, root-cause analysis, service improvement, and management of technical debt.
  • Support technology selection, proof-of-concept activity, and vendor management.
  • Drive innovation in areas such as fast RCS estimation, hybrid EM solvers, IR signature modelling, antenna/structure co-optimisation, and model calibration.
  • Develop training and change-management materials to support adoption of new digital capabilities and processes.
  • Manage budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and delivery performance.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Applied Electromagnetics, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience delivering digital engineering capabilities within EM disciplines.
  • Experience within the Aerospace and/or Defence industry
  • Strong knowledge of EM engineering disciplines including areas such as RCS/LO, IR signature, EMC/HIRF, lightning, antenna integration, radomes, or EM materials.
  • Strong understanding of Model-Based Engineering and digital thread principles.
  • Proven experience managing complex technical delivery involving multiple stakeholders, partners, and suppliers.
  • Strong understanding of secure data management and IP-aware collaboration.
  • Demonstrable project/programme or service management experience, with APM, PRINCE2, ITIL or equivalent qualifications advantageous.
  • Experience with SAFe or Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Knowledge of EM modelling techniques such as Mo M, FEM, FDTD, PO, and TD.
  • Experience with RCS prediction, hybrid EM methods, IR/thermal modelling, antenna optimisation, or radome modelling.
  • Experience managing EM technology vendors and system integrators.
  • Knowledge of EMC/HIRF/lightning assurance and test practices.
