Material Coordinator to support a major Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) project in Hartlepool.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-profile energy infrastructure project, coordinating critical material logistics and marine operations on site.

The Role

You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials, coordinating vessel operations, and managing imports, exports and hazardous goods documentation to keep the project running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Check and manifest container contents.
  • Prepare Dangerous Goods Notes (DGNs) where required.
  • Ensure containers are loaded safely and secured correctly.
  • Coordinate quayside vessel loading and discharge operations.
  • Liaise with project teams and vessels to manage port calls and material deliveries.
  • Ensure customs procedures are followed for all imports and exports.
  • Maintain accurate material tracking and logistics records.

Requirements

  • Minimum

6 years' experience as a Material Coordinator on major engineering, offshore, marine or energy projects.

  • Strong background in site material handling and logistics coordination.
  • Experience with dangerous goods documentation and customs procedures.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience on offshore, oil & gas, marine or major infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
