What you will do:
- Lead test activities for UI‑centric applications across multiple finance domains.
- Define, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts in line with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Software Test Framework Standards (STFS).
- Run and optimise SQL/Oracle queries to validate data‑driven test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and clearly articulate defects, root‑cause analyses, and remediation recommendations.
- Mentor junior testers and act as a technical/functional point of contact for testing teams.
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and business analysts to ensure test coverage aligns with business requirements.
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives, driving higher quality and faster delivery.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in finance (banking, capital markets, payments, etc.)
- Advanced SQL/Oracle query writing for data verification
- Experience testing across multiple business domains (e.g., back‑office, compliance)
- Proven ability to lead test efforts, mentor peers, or manage test teams
- Deep understanding of testing life‑cycle phases and compliance with STFS
- Exposure to Selenium, Cypress, or similar UI automation tools
- Computer Science degree optional; extensive hands‑on testing experience required
- Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Demonstrated long‑term tenure in previous organisations, showing stability and value‑add.
- Ability to work autonomously within a distributed EMEA team.
