We are recruiting for Systems Technicians to support a major London tram network, carrying out inspection, maintenance, fault-finding and repair across a range of critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Planned and preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs.
- Work across SCADA, communications, fibre optics, traction power, CCTV, radio, PABX, passenger information systems and LV systems.
- Record maintenance and asset information using electronic asset management systems.
- Identify asset deterioration and recommend remedial action.
- Support engineering teams and supervise external resources where required.
- Undertake relevant safety and on-call duties.
Requirements
- National Certificate in Engineering or equivalent - essential.
- Experience in a systems/electrical engineering environment.
- Experience with SCADA and communications systems.
- Experience undertaking systems inspections and surveys.
- Good record keeping and Microsoft Office skills.
- SAP/asset management experience desirable.
- HNC/Higher in Electrical & Electronic Engineering desirable.
- Rail/tramway safety knowledge desirable.
Training will be provided where required.
