Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a team building a distributed calculation engine used to calculate financial indices and quantitative models. This is a business-critical platform operating within a high-performance financial services environment.

This is primarily a backend engineering role, focused on designing and building new functionality rather than support or maintenance.

  • Strong senior-level software engineering background
  • Significant commercial experience with JVM technologies (Scala or Java)
  • Experience building complex backend or distributed systems
