ARM is recruiting for an experienced QS Mechanical professional to support a major energy sector project in North Wales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update project Bills of Quantities and quantity records.
  • Update project management databases with construction progress data.
  • Support the preparation and verification of extra works, NPs, and CWOs.
  • Ensure quantity and cost data complies with project procedures and subcontract requirements.
  • Assist with quantity reporting and cost forecasting.
  • Monitor subcontractor, equipment usage, and installed quantities.
  • Support the administration and settlement of subcontractor and client claims.
  • Coordinate spooling, welding, and material traceability systems.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience as a Mechanical Quantity Surveyor.
  • Strong piping experience within energy, oil & gas, petrochemical, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of piping classes, material families, weld mapping, and material traceability.
  • Experience with quantity management systems and subcontract administration.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and Office 365 skills.
