12 month contract based in Havant offering between £30-£40ph inside IR35.

As the Facilities Supervisor, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry. Due to the nature of the work you will be involved in, you will be required to acquire an SC level security clearance.
You will be involved in:
- Providing direction of daily operations as required.
- First line responsibility for safety, review of RAMs, issues permits etc.
- Efficiently delivering the maintenance activities utilising the external contractors including monitoring and reporting on issues.
- Ensuring all statutory inspections are completed on time for assets under facilities control/monitoring landlord completion.
- Developing and improving maintenance job plans for facilities assets.
- Checking returned reports and certificates for accurate and correct content before submitting for CMMS closure/arranging additional or remedial work.
- Acting as facilities representation for project handover/acceptance of new plant.
- Collection of asset registration data and supporting the development of the CMMS.
- Daily use and support of CMMS to control workflow.
- Ensuring Facilities-related Command Media is appropriate and in line with business and legislative requirements.
Your skillset may include:
- Previous supervisory or management experience within a facilities or maintenance environment.
- Professional experience in facilities management or a related field, ideally within the defence industry.
- Experience managing both in-house maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Working knowledge of CMMS platforms such as Maximo or IBM TRIRIGA.
- Good understanding of relevant facilities legislation, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
- Basic understanding of project management methodologies.
- Ability to review and understand RAMS and issue permits to work.
- Experience hosting and coordinating external contractors on site.
