Are you passionate about cloud technologies, automation, infrastructure, and cybersecurity? We're looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to join a growing team delivering secure, mission-critical solutions within the Defence and National Security sector. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies while developing your skills alongside experienced engineers in a collaborative environment.
The Role
As a DevSecOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for designing, deploying, securing and supporting complex IT infrastructure and applications. Working within multi-disciplinary teams, you'll help automate software delivery, improve system reliability, and support cloud and on-premise environments that underpin critical customer programmes.
You'll gain exposure to the latest DevSecOps practices, Infrastructure as Code, containerisation, cloud technologies and CI/CD pipelines, helping deliver secure and scalable solutions from development through to deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain secure IT infrastructure.
- Support the development and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
- Administer Windows and Linux environments.
- Support cloud deployments across public, private and hybrid cloud platforms.
- Work with container technologies including Kubernetes and Docker.
- Monitor, maintain and improve system performance, security and reliability.
- Collaborate with software engineers, architects and customers to deliver technical solutions.
About You
You'll ideally have experience in some of the following:
- DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineering, Systems Administration or Platform Engineering.
- Windows and Linux administration.
- Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins or similar automation tools.
- Docker and Kubernetes.
- Git, GitLab or Bitbucket.
- Python, PowerShell or Bash scripting.
- AWS or other cloud technologies.
- Agile delivery environments using tools such as Jira and Confluence.
Security Clearance
You do not need to hold security clearance before applying. Candidates must be eligible to obtain Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance, and support will be provided throughout the clearance process.
