About the Role
We\’re looking for a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our Maintenance Team, delivering repairs, installations, and refurbishment work across domestic properties. This is a customer-facing role, where professionalism, safety, and efficiency are key. You\’ll be part of a supportive, multi-skilled team with the tools and technology to do your job well.
Key Responsibilities
- Electrical repairs, maintenance, and installations in line with I.E.E. wiring regulations (including Part P)
- Fault finding on single and three-phase systems
- Testing, inspection, and certification (including EICRs and PAT)
- Installation of showers, immersion heaters, and electric heating systems
- Wiring of domestic heating controls
- Maintaining van stock and updating job progress via PDA
- Reporting urgent health & safety concerns and any follow-up work
Requirements
Essential:
- City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2382 (18th Edition)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Proven experience in domestic electrical work
Desirable:
- City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent fault diagnosis and repair skills
- Able to work independently and manage own workload
- Competent with mobile technology for job scheduling and reporting
- Strong customer service and communication skills
