  • Business Analyst - Credit Risk
  • 6-Months contract - Inside IR35 - up to Β£600 per day
  • London based - hybrid working - 3 days a week onsite
  • Main purpose of the role;

The Credit Risk Business Analyst will act as the primary liaison between Credit Risk Management, Business Users, Project Managers and Technology teams to deliver strategic enhancements across the Credit Risk platform.

The successful candidate will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, analysing Credit Risk processes, supporting regulatory change initiatives, and ensuring that business objectives are translated into effective technology solutions.

The role requires strong knowledge of Credit Risk concepts including Potential Future Exposure (PFE), Counterparty Credit Risk, Collateral Management, Netting, Exposure calculations and Risk Reporting.

The individual will work closely with Risk Managers and global technology teams to support the ongoing evolution of the firm's Credit Risk infrastructure.

The candidate should possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and a detailed understanding of investment banking products and Credit Risk processes.

The candidate should have a solid understanding of financial products such as IR Derivatives, Mortgage Backed Securities, Repos, Stock Borrow Lending and Ageny Lending.

Previous experience working within Credit Risk, Market Risk, Middle Office Risk Technology or Regulatory Change programmes is highly desirable.

  • Business Analysis & Project Delivery
  • Extensive experience performing Business Analysis within Investment Banking environments.
  • Proven ability to gather, document and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Strong stakeholder management skills across Front Office, Middle Office, Risk and Technology functions.
  • Experience supporting Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
  • Ability to coordinate deliveries across multiple development teams and geographical locations.
  • Credit Risk Knowledge
  • Good understanding of Counterparty Credit Risk concepts.

  • Familiarity with risk simulation and pricing platforms such as S&P Global Financial Risk Analytics (FRA) is highly desirable.

  • Experience analysing large datasets using SQL.
  • Ability to perform data reconciliation and root cause analysis.
  • Understanding of system integration and risk architecture.
