We are looking for an Assistant Commercial Manager to support procurement across tram infrastructure, including civils, power, and track. The role covers pre- and post-contract procurement, stakeholder engagement, and governance compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compliant procurement services and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with contract reviews, negotiations, and change requests.
- Plan and manage procurement exercises collaboratively using digital tools.
- Support operational continuity, including urgent infrastructure procurement.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Qualified or part-qualified CIPS / RICS or equivalent.
- Experience in pre- and post-contract procurement.
- Knowledge of the Procurement Act 2023 and procurement governance.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and prioritisation skills.
Desirable
- Experience with SAP Ariba / SAP R3 and e-tendering portals.
- Transport, infrastructure, or civil engineering sector experience.
