Do you have experience generating control plans from drawings for parts/assemblies? Do you have experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment? Do you want to work with an industry‑leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!
As the Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be working alongside a market‑leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
Responsibilities
- Generating control plans from drawings for parts/assemblies
- Managing non‑conformance process from containment through quarantine to effective RCCA
- Participating in design reviews and drawing reviews
Skillset
- Strong understanding of quality assurance principles, non‑conformance management, and root cause analysis techniques
- Experience working within an AS9100‑regulated manufacturing environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Experience with Control Plans, RCCA, and quality problem‑solving methodologies
- Experience within Aerospace or Defence manufacturing
- Knowledge of AS9102 First Article Inspection requirements
- SAP experience or familiarity with similar ERP systems
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement tools
- Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality‑related qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent)
