Analogue IC Design Engineer
Location: Southampton - Remote working
Rate:£55 per hour
Contract: Inside IR35

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Analogue/Mixed-Signal IC Design Engineer to join an established IC Design team developing advanced infrared imaging and detector technologies for applications including earth observation, thermal imaging, surveillance, and search-and-track systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design analogue and mixed-signal ICs at transistor, cell and block level.
- Translate design requirements into robust, verified solutions.
- Support complex IC development from design through verification.
- Work collaboratively with engineering teams to deliver projects to specification and schedule.
Essential Experience
- Formal qualification in Electronic Engineering, Microelectronics or a related discipline.
- Several years' experience in analogue/mixed-signal IC design.
- Strong transistor-level analogue design experience.
- Experience designing complex CMOS ICs.
- Ability to deliver accurate, verified designs within project timescales.
Desirable
- CMOS Readout IC (ROIC)experience.
- Imaging IC or image sensor design.
- Infrared detector electronics.
- Semiconductor, ASIC or mixed-signal design experience.
