Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, lead, and deliver service design for public service in Discovery.
  • Apply a range of methods e.g. stakeholder interviews, contextual inquiry.
  • Synthesise findings into clear, actionable outputs such as problem statements, user journeys, blueprints and flows.
  • Translate insights into strategic priorities and design recommendations that inform product strategy and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams - User Researchers, Interaction Designers (UX / UI), Business Analysts and Technical leads to ensure materials are insight driven.
  • Communicate findings to varied audiences through visual artefacts, presentations, and stakeholder playbacks.
  • Facilitate workshops, playback sessions and show-and-tells to drive cross-functional understanding and alignment.
  • Map the whole problem and think beyond the confines of the brief yet be cognisant of the challenge at hand.
Skills Experience:
  • Excellent experience advocating for and working within GDS service standards.
  • Create engaging narratives.
