Lead Systems Engineer Basildon 8-Month Contract Paying up to £72p/h (Outside IR35) About the Role We are looking for an experienced Lead Systems Engineer to support a major engineering programme, working closely with the Project Chief Engineer to ensure the technical integrity of the full system and its subsystems.
You will lead architecture development, integration activities, and supplier engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities Lead the architecture team to develop and document the architecture thought the project lifecycle.
Lead the integration activity of sub-systems Lead the engagement with technical suppliers Influence all levels of requirements to enable design and development decisions and trade-offs to be made.
Provide direction, control, evaluation, and recommendations relating to technical risks and opportunities.
Support test planning and requirements verification to achieve certification and delivery for the overall system.
Working with and influencing key project stakeholders, including customer and end users.
Actively support knowledge sharing and exploitation of best practice.
