Do you have experience identifying ergonomics risk factors in the workplace? Do you have experience in a manufacturing/industrial engineering environment? Do you want to work with an industry-leading company? If your answer to these is yes, then this could be the role for you!
As the Ergonomist, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry.
You will be involved in:
- Increase efficiency and minimise the negative impact of the work packages on both the human and the manufacturing systems
- Influence product development in line with 'design for manufacture' principles
- Develop and drive strategic plans for ergonomic risk reduction interventions
- Identifying work-related ergonomic risk factors at the workplace and propose solutions to mitigate risks
- Anticipation of risk, application of theory, principles, data and methods to enable design that will optimise human health and overall performance
