Job Description CNC Miller Permanent role Do you have experience working on 5 Axis machines? As the CNC Miller, you will be working alongside a market-leading Defence and Aerospace company who are constantly growing and developing. They are always looking to bring on new talents such as yourself and further develop your skills to enable you to grow within the company and industry! Set, operate, and maintain high-precision CNC Milling machines in a fast-paced, R&D-oriented shop Design machining processes, select and optimize tooling, write G-code, and oversee production of high-value, low-volume parts and one-offs Programming, set up, and running in multi-axis machining methods (3, 4, and 5 axis) Edit CNC programs, set fixtures and tooling, proving out and operating CNC multi-axis machines to produce R and D and production component parts Inspecting produced parts using various measuring instruments and hand gauges and interprets CMM inspection results Supporting the development of machining processes and tooling/fixture design Liaising with engineering to improve machining methods Experience of 6S and lean manufacturing tools and techniques CNC Miller Permanent role ARM is a specialist talent acquisition and management consultancy.
