We're looking for an experienced Survey Engineer with a strong background in railway infrastructure surveys to join our growing team. If you enjoy working across a variety of rail projects and have the technical expertise to deliver high-quality survey solutions, we'd like to hear from you.
Security Requirements
- Applicants must hold (or be able to obtain): BPSS clearance
- PTS certification
- AC and DC competencies
What you'll be doing
- Leading topographical and rail infrastructure surveys
- Setting up and maintaining survey control networks
- Managing GNSS survey control and coordinate transformations (including SnakeGrid)
- Processing and validating point cloud data
- Producing CAD drawings and survey deliverables
- Reviewing survey outputs to ensure quality and technical compliance
- Providing technical advice to project teams
- Working with third-party survey providers where required
- Helping improve survey methods
