We are currently recruiting for a Surface Highway Structures B2 Engineer to provide specialist engineering support across a range of capital schemes, third-party works and asset operations within a major transport organisation.
The Role:
- Provide technical assurance and engineering advice across a range of structures projects and operational activities.
- Support the planning, design, construction, inspection, maintenance and assessment of highway and/or marine structures.
- Produce and review technical information, designs, drawings and calculations.
- Provide professional engineering advice and challenge to internal stakeholders.
- Undertake site-based risk monitoring and surveillance where required.
- Apply relevant engineering standards, legislation and industry best practice.
- Support the delivery of safe, efficient and cost-effective engineering solutions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation and whole-life asset management.

- Bridges
- Culverts
- Retaining walls
- Gantry
