Planning & Delivery Manager - Rail
Location: Plumstead, London
Rate: £463.40/day Umbrella
Duration: Contract
We are currently recruiting for 3 Planning & Delivery Managers to support an infrastructure maintenance delivery team within the rail sector.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and schedule rail infrastructure maintenance activities.
Create and manage safe work packs.
Support possession planning and work allocation.
Manage work orders and maintenance planning activities.
Attend planning and maintenance delivery meetings.
Work closely with planners and delivery managers to support the wider planning function.
Essential Requirements
Previous rail planning experience .
Network Rail Safe System of Work Planner (SSOWP) competence .
Valid PTS and Sentinel Card .
Experience creating safe work packs .
Experience with possession planning .
Knowledge of railway safety standards.
Understanding of railway systems including track, signalling, stations, power and fleet.
Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel and SharePoint .
Desirable
Experience using PPS, Maximo, Ellipse, SAP or similar asset management systems .
Experience working with Network Rail, London Underground or Elizabeth Line interfaces .
Knowledge of Central Access Systems .
Location: This is a fully site-based role at Plumstead Depot, Monday-Friday. No hybrid working is available.
