The role focuses on building, modernising and supporting highly distributed, business-critical backend systems. Key Requirements Strong Python backend development Advanced SQL / database development Microservices and event-driven architecture Kafka and/or Tibco TDD and automated testing Kubernetes and/or OpenShift Prometheus, Grafana or similar Production support and troubleshooting Agile delivery experienceDesirable Financial Services / Capital Markets experience CI/CD and DevOps Legacy system modernisation Experience supporting critical production platformsWe're looking for a hands-on engineer with strong problem-solving skills and a focus on code quality, testing and system reliability.
