This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with strong public sector experience to lead procurement projects from initial strategy through to contract award and ongoing contract management.
The RoleYou will manage end-to-end procurement projects, working closely with engineers, project managers and internal stakeholders to deliver effective procurement solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading procurement projects from initial strategy through to contract award.
Developing and drafting procurement strategies and contract documentation.
Preparing contract award papers and single-source justifications.
Managing procurement timelines, pipelines and reporting.
Sourcing quotations and managing tender processes.
Negotiating with suppliers to achieve value for money.
Attending project meetings and engaging with key stakeholders.
Raising purchase orders and supporting contract management activities.
Key RequirementsProven experience managing end-to-end procurement projects.
Strong public sector procurement experience.
Excellent negotiation and supplier management skills. Experience drafting procurement strategies and contract documentation.
Strong stakeholder management skills, particularly working with engineers and project managers.
Contract management experience. SAP experience is desirable.
Experience using procurement tools would be advantageous.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
